The Queen Elisabeth Hall
The Queen Elisabeth Hall is beautifully embedded in the prestigious high-tech complex, the Elisabeth Center Antwerp, the new conference and concert center in the heart of Antwerp, next to Antwerp ZOO.
The unique location, in the middle of the city of Antwerp and close to Central Station, gives organizers of conferences as well as theater and music performances an attractive base.
The new Elisabeth Hall has a maximum capacity of over 2,000 seats and is narrower, deeper and higher than the old one. An undulating wooden wall covering contributes to acoustics of absolute world top: with a score of 9.3 out of 10. The Center is equipped with the most modern facilities and technical facilities and has been built according to the latest standards in terms of sustainability and the environment. The new modern theatre seats are fully bespoke and made according to the highest acoustic requirements.
Simpson Haugh & Partners, Bureau Bouwtechniek, Kirkegaard and Charcoal blue all collaborated on the renovation of this historical building.
