Ahoy is a world-class venue offering infinite possibilities that creates unforgettable events. The eventspace can be used for various activities from dans, business, theatre, concerts, sports and so on.

This venue was created in the 50-ties and has Rotterdam in its DNA. Since then, it’s an iconic place for many people. It was here that you first saw your pop idol in the flesh, or it’s where you launched your business event. Ahoy features an arena, exhibition halls and a congress and meeting centre all under one roof. That makes Ahoy a unique venue in the Netherlands and abroad. Ahoy is also the venue that is very well known among the 'biggest on earth' since 1971.

In 2020 the RTM opened, a brand-new concert hall / convention centre with a capacity of 7842 people. Moveable retractable seating systems with double stacking were integrated to make the hall multifunctional suitable for a sitting audience of 2800 and perfect for theatre plays, seated concerts cabaret and so on.

Modern looking seats, the Lucca, with soft tip-up were chosen to match with the industrial look of the hall.
